Powerflex designed this one to replace the softer rubber voided OE mount that can be prone to cracking, allowing for excessive engine movement and wheel hop. The PFF5-220 Lower Torque Mount Bracket & Bushing (Yellow 70A, Purple 80A, Black 95A) is 300% stiffer than the worn OE mount and recommended for fast road use for standard or mildly tuned cars. Combining a CNC machined aluminum lower torque mount with various durometer bushing options to suit differing states of tune, it's a great way of reducing engine movement for more balanced on/off throttle handling while improving gear shifting precision. It's also super easy to replace - just two bolts and it's out with the old, in with the new and no pressing out of any rubber! A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted. PFF5-220 replaces both styles of OEM brackets, 22-11-6-783-094, 22-11-4-052-474, & 22-11-6-772-040.

Powerflex polyurethane bushings are designed to decrease the amount of deflection in your car's suspension for better handling, more driver feedback, and better tire wear. Powerflex uses premium polyurethane materials for minimal NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) and increased longevity over the stock rubber bushings. Bushings come in pre-determined durometers (measured hardness) from Powerflex to work best in each particular location. The street bushing will work best for mostly everyone. They have been spec'd by Powerflex to be the best durometers for your application and are 70A (Yellow), 80A (Purple), and 95A (Black).

Powerflex grease is supplied with every dynamic product. We suggest using only this grease for lubrication. Due to grooves and knurls cast into the material to hold the lubricant, bushings will rarely need re-lubing. We do not suggest using an "anti-seize" product for lubrication.

Lets meet in the middle! Try "The Performance Series." A new range of bushings developed for aggressive street use. The Powerflex Performance Series bushings are manufactured using a 80 Shore A compound to provide a more firm aggressive than street bushing combo, but not as harsh as they race can be. A nice middle ground.

Want a stiffer bushing? Have a track car? Try "The Black Series." A new range of bushings developed for Race, Rally and Circuit use. The Powerflex Black Series bushings are manufactured using a 95 Shore A compound to provide maximum control of chassis geometry.

Warranty: All Powerflex bushings are made in the UK and come with a 1 year, unlimited mile warranty.
