Craven Speeds approach to designing the best vehicle phone mounts is centered around 3 core principles. Firstly, they were very skeptical of most universal fitment mounts on the market. Things like suction cups, vent clips, or stick on mounts aren't designed specifically for your MINI. They can fall off very easily and don't keep your device safely mounted. Their preference is to design mounts with specific vehicle fitment.

For the MINI, we utilize attachment points on the back of the gauge cluster. Our laser cut steel bracket mounts securely to the back of each cluster.
Phone attachment to the mount should be fast, easy, and secure. Our magnetic attachment system is the fastest and most convenient method of attaching a device to the mount.
The last part of the puzzle is you. Humans come in all shapes and sizes. Thus, this phone mount features an adjustable arm and 360 degree articulating ball head allowing you to have complete control over the position of your device.

With the above principles in place the Gemini creates a secure, convenient, and comfortable space dedicated to your phone. That's pretty good as is, but there are plenty of other benefits. You'll never lose your phone in the black hole between the seat and console. Your phone doesn't have to flop around in the sticky cup holder. This mount is available with three different styles of device attachment. The first two are magnet based. Our Magnet/MagSafe attachments are compatible with any device and offer the ultimate speed and convenience. Phones or cases equipped with MagSafe are directly compatible with the MagSafe attachment. All other devices require the use of an included adhesive backed metal plate. For phones with Qi Charging functionality, the MagSafe version is the best choice. This version comes with a ring plate that will not interfere with the wireless charging feature. Any non-Magsafe or non-Qi device can use either version, though the standard Magnet base is recommended in this case.

We also offer a scissor grip attachment for those looking for an alternative to the magnetic attachments. With this version, CNC machined billet aluminum arms form a spring loaded gripper mechanism. The soft rubber pegs gently and securely grip your device to ensure that it does not fall out. The scissor mechanism can rotate 360 degrees so the phone can be held in either portrait or landscape mode.

If you are looking for charging capability, they also offer a MagSafe Charger Holder attachment at additional cost. Using Apple's MagSafe charger, this method offers the fastest wireless charging rates available.

All units hve an adjustable arm, allowing you to fix the position of your phone, where you’d like it.
