Description Reviews MINI Turbo Oil Line Heat Shield! This is the new stock heat shield that comes on most new model MINI Cooper S turbo motors. It clips over the turbo oil line and has an extra heat wrap to help protect the o-ring from cooking itself. Early (2007) cars did not come with this shield at all. Somewhere in 2009 they added the shield to the top; around 2012 they added the extra flap. The line kit from Detroit Tuned was excellent, this shield was a genuine MINI part with the latest heat "flap" to further shield the oil line. The part fit OK but was hard to get a "sano" looking install due to tight clearances. Perhaps if I had the turbo out I could have made it look better.
