Description Reviews These are OEM parts for the Cooper crank pulley. If your MINI has a loud squeal, it could be a damaged crank pulley. Look at the rubber ring that's pressed between the two steel pieces to see if it is coming out or has been damaged. If it has, it more than likely needs replacing. We have found that from the back side that a lot of the rubber has been eaten away or disappeared over time, causing a balance issue and the performance of the pulley. This balance issue could lead to more serious problems down the road if not repaired in a timely manner. Like the two halves coming apart.
