MINI Antifreeze Coolant

OEM MINI Antifreeze Coolant! If you're a stickler for having nothing but the best for your MINI, we offer you a jug of MINI OEM coolant. This jug is 100% straight, so that means you need to add your own water (distilled water is best). MINI recommends a 50/50 mix and that will protect your MINI from -34 deg F (-37 deg C) up to 265 deg F (130 deg C). They also recommend a coolant flush every two to three years depending on conditions and model year; and this is even more important in the Gen 2 Turbo S cars since the coolant cools the turbo and the coolant cooks itself so quickly. So, we highly recommend every two years for all the Gen 2 cars. Every car will need up to two jugs to complete the job correctly (one jug coolant, one jug water mixed to 50/50) depending on the amount of coolant that you can get out of the car (not every drop will come out). The first 50/50 mix will go right in quickly, then you will use ¼ to ½ of the second mix, you then have some on hand to top off the system as needed. Make sure to bleed the system correctly to get all the air out and it is topped off correctly. There is a bleeder screwed onto of the thermostat on most cars to help with this, and they system self bleeds to the tank as you drive the car also. But it's best to have 98% of the air out before driving.
