ARP MINI Cooper Rod Bolts G2

ARP Rod Bolts for all Gen 2 Mini Coopers. Fits all N12, N14, N16, & N18 motors. The R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, R61, MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S.

The bolts are made of premium grade 8740 chromoly steel and heat treated to a nominal tensile strength of 190,000 psi. They are far superior to OEM fasteners in terms of durability and service life, and are fully capable of handling the extra stress of high compression engines. These are a necessary component when building a high horsepower engine. The weak link in a connecting rod has always been the bolt; and racers know that nobody builds a better fastener than ARP. Forged in-house at ARP using only the finest quality materials. Heat-treated using special vertical racks to assure complete 360 penetration. Threads rolled after heat-treat to provide up to 10-times longer fatigue strength. Precision CNC-machined to exacting specifications and specially designed for optimum reliability in each application.

Note: You will need a 12 point 9mm socket & 3/8 drive torque wrench.
